Frequently Asked Questions

What is Staffyou?

Staffyou is an app platform that allows you to work when and where you want. Download our app to find exciting shifts in hospitality, events, catering, logistics, delivery and more! Choose your own shifts and get paid weekly!

How does it work?

What does it take to get started?

You must have a National Insurance number. You can find this on your NI card, otherwise, it should be on the paperwork from when you applied for one, on letters about taxes, a P60 or a payslip.

Additionally, as a freelancer you will also need a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number and in some cases your Company Registration Number (CRN).

What hourly rate do I get?

At Staffyou we have a minimum hourly rate of £13*.

* Depending on the job/function/your performance, this can of course be more.

Where can I work?

This is entirely up to you: you decide where and when you work. Freelancers choose their own working days and times.

To make it easy for you, we’ve created relationships with a wide range of different clients across various industries throughout London. One day you can work in the hospitality industry and the next day in the delivery industry so you can find your preference.

How do I get paid?

After working a shift, you can submit your working hours which are then approved by the client within one week. We’ll then put these hours together onto an invoice – don’t worry, we’ll handle sending these for you, and display them on your financial overview. We’ll always pay your invoice within the standard 14-day payment terms.

Will I get a fine or a deposit?

At Staffyou we don't do fines or a deposit. We trust you to take responsibility for yourself when you work for a client. There are of course consequences in case of no-show without a valid reason as you could get banned from using the platform.

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Staffyou, we’re passionate about building a just and more sustainable world. But we also put our aims into action. That is why, as a corporate partner of Trees for the Future, we plant 1 tree in Africa for each shift worked.
